Thick as thieves: Bavaria Sonor Licensing brokers new licensing partnerships for the "Bud Spencer" and "Terence Hill" brands
Munich - Bavaria Sonor Licensing (BSL), a division of Bavaria Media GmbH, has brokered two new licensing partnerships for the "Bud Spencer" and "Terence Hill" brands. The images of the two cult characters will adorn a collection of tin signs from Blechwaren Fabrik Braunschweig from now on and, from July 23, 2021, a new barbecue sauce from Essendorfer Genussschmelzerei. The products will be available in selected stores.
Essendorfer Genusschmelzerei is kicking off the 2021 barbecue season with "Bud BBQ Sauce," which gets its smoky note from the single malt whisky "Bud Spencer - The Legend - smoky" from St. Kilian Distillers. Brand and product were also brought together here by BSL.
At the same time, Blechwaren Fabrik Braunschweig is launching nostalgic tin signs with quotes and posters from Bud Spencer's and Terence Hill's most famous films. The tin collection also includes enamel mugs and wall clocks. In total, the products will be available in more than 50 different designs to collect.
Ivica Maracic, Licensing & Sales Director of Bavaria Sonor Licensing: "With Essendorfer Genusschmelzerei and Blechwaren Fabrik Braunschweig, we have gained licensing partners that are a great fit for the two rough but charming characters. The fantastic idea of adding Bud Spencer whisky from our licensee St. Kilian Distillers to the ingredients of the barbecue sauce will make the hearts of all BBQ lovers skip a beat. And a retro-style home-and-living collection should be just what fans of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill have always longed for."
Bavaria Sonor Licensing (BSL) was appointed by the rights owner Paloma Productions Media & Marketing GmbH and Plattfuss Vertriebs GmbH to expand the product world around Bud Spencer and Terence Hill with licensing cooperation and corresponding licensed products throughout Europe.
BSL represents brands such as "PLAYMOBIL", "The Smurfs", "Masha and the Bear", "Care Bears", "Moomin", "Panini", "BIG-Bobby-Car", and "Janosch".
